In these challenging economic times there are a number of events enticing women to engage in even more consumerism. This distinctive event is different as the focus is on service; service to the women in attendance and service to the women who are helped by the funds raised from the event. The Tweak your (She)ic Image & Beauty Lounge's tagline;

Suited for Change, a non-profit dedicated to helping disadvantaged women rehabilitate back into the workforce through programs, clothing and mentoring initiatives. In addition, the heart of the event is about encouraging women to give back to themselves by celebrating their own self care and embracing the beauty and inner '(she)ic' in us all.
The women attending this event will be polished, pampered, preened and enhanced by the opportunities to ‘tweak their (she)ic’ by area professionals (the ‘
Tweakers’) who will be on hand to perform demonstrations, give advice, and share tips in their areas of expertise so guests leave feeling fabulous and in touch with their inner ‘(she)ic’.

Élan Image Management, an image and wardrobe consulting company has a mission to empower and educate women to make more informed choices about their image. This event is the materialization of a vision to provide women with access to a variety of image/ beauty/lifestyle service professionals at one event where the focus is on revamping and rejuvenating while supporting a cause that assists underserved women.
Founded in 1992, Suited for Change provides professional clothing and ongoing career and life skills education to low-income women to increase their employment and job retention potential and to contribute to their economic independence. Our services are available at no charge and by referral only to low-income women who have completed job readiness programs and are seeking employment.
- Tweak (v): To fine tune, adjust, modify, correct
- Tweaker (n): A professional at the event who will be assisting in your tweaking
- (she)ic (n): Your inner (hidden) style, élan, panache, diva that will be revealed after being Tweaked
- Tweaking (v): The act of adjusting, modifying or fine tuning by a Tweaker so your ‘(she)ic’ emerges
